$2,000.00 Sign on bonus! 5 to 10 years of experience required $35.00 to $38.00 per hour depending on experience Overview We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs on commercial trucks and related equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of DOT regulations, the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle systems, and proficiency with hand tools, air tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and minimizing equipment downtime. Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance services on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and repair advanced electrical, HVAC, and ABS systems. Perform transmission removal, installation, and repairs. Repair and maintain suspension, brake, tire, and wheel-end components. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment complies with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Operate a variety of hand tools, air tools, torches, welders, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Replace and repair lighting systems, tires, and other essential vehicle components. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to prioritize repairs and maintain fleet readiness. Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs as needed to support operational needs. Qualifications 5 to 10 years Diesel Mechanic experience experience Engine diagnostics and repairs Advanced Transmission rear end repair and removal Advanced Electrical diagnostics and repair Advanced Suspension repair and alignment Advanced Wheel & Brake Diagnostics HVAC diagnostics and repairs Use of air tools, torches, and welders FMCSA Inspection Certificate [state] required

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CNG systems, including trailers, tanks, and gas systems Hot works experience and physical agility to perform shop and field tasks CDL Class A or B preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing requirements Ability sit, stand, and walk continuously Ability to kneel, bend, and reach frequently Ability to lift up to 50lbs at customer site and/or station, as needed
