Job Description

A Level Diesel Technician McDiesel is looking for an experienced A Level Diesel Technician to join our growing team in Sparks. We're a family oriented shop that takes pride in quality workmanship, honest service, and building a strong team culture. We are looking for a highly skilled technician who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks while helping us continue to grow. We specialize in diesel pickup repair and maintenance, primarily working on the Big 3 manufacturers:
GM Duramax Ford Power Stroke Dodge/Ram Cummins Schedule:
Full Time Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Enjoy a 4 day work week with 3 day weekends every week.
Pay:
$35 to $50+ per hour depending on experience, skill level, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting. Diagnose drivability, electrical, fuel system, emissions, and engine performance concerns. Perform digital vehicle inspections (DVIs). Complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Perform maintenance services as needed. Assist with complex diagnostics and support other team members when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation and repair recommendations. Keep a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional automotive or diesel repair experience. Strong diagnostic abilities with proven troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with diesel pickups, including Duramax, Power Stroke, and Cummins platforms. Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and scan tool operation Valid driver's license. Positive attitude and team focused mindset.
