Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician (Commercial Vehicles) PDS Tech - 3.9 Cicero, NY Job Details Full-time $27 - $32 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Company vehicle operation Driver's License Full Job Description Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician (Commercial Vehicles) Picture the start of your shift: you clock in at our well-established local beverage distribution center and head to the shop where a 50-truck fleet relies on your expertise. One truck needs scheduled PM, another has a transmission code waiting to be diagnosed, and a delivery unit is in for brake work. No two days look the same—and that's exactly how you like it. Your Day Diagnose issues across a fleet of approximately 50 commercial trucks using modern diagnostic equipment.
Handle routine and advanced work:
PMs, engine and transmission service, and brake repairs. Collaborate with the transportation maintenance team to keep routes on schedule and equipment road-ready. Shifts & Schedule 2ndShift:
About 2:00pm - 10:00/10:30pm (includes a $3/hour shift differential) 3rdShift:
About 9:30pm - 6:00am (includes a $4/hour shift differential) Some flexibility is available. You're guaranteed 40 hours each week, OT is offered when needed, and weekend work is generally not required. What You Bring Hands-on background with diesel trucks, automotive repair, heavy equipment/yellow iron, or farm machinery. Your own professional-grade toolset. A valid New York State driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles (CDL A not required). Ability to pass drug testing, (including THC) Compensation & Benefits Base pay from $24-$30 per hour, depending on experience. Shift differential of $3-$4 per hour with ample overtime opportunities.Comprehensive package:
