Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. The Diesel Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including brake repair and tire service. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure accurate repairs. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and other industrial machinery as needed for repairs. Fabricate parts or components when necessary to complete repairs effectively. Conduct inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues before they become serious problems. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all operations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair with a focus on diesel engines is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in the areas of suspension systems, brake systems, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and repair practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
