Job Description

Lindsey Aggregates is looking to hire an
A Level Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Immedietly Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on heavy trucks and construction equipment Experience working with Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel engines Proficiency in hydraulic system diagnosis, maintenance, and repair Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, wiring, and lighting issues Experience with preventative maintenance programs and fleet maintenance scheduling Knowledge of air brake systems, suspension systems, and driveline components Experience performing engine, transmission, and differential repairs Basic welding and fabrication skills Ability to safely operate diagnostic software and repair equipment Must provide personal mechanic tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to workplace safety
Preferred Qualifications:
CDL Class A or B license (or willingness to obtain) Experience maintaining aggregate, quarry, excavation, or heavy construction equipment Experience with automatic and manual transmissions Air conditioning certification and experience servicing A/C systems Welding certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Willingness to work overtime as needed
