Description Fleet ServiceTechnician Our Clarke Vehicare team is currently looking for a Fleet Diesel Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service.

In this role, the Fleet Diesel Mechanic will perform heavy duty truck as well as automotive repairs and maintenance in accordance with factory and industry standards which will include running diagnostics on these vehicles. What are the duties?
ESSENTIAL
Duties Maintain and repair a dedicated Fleet of Vehicles. Fleet includes Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers, MHE and Automobiles. Preventative Maintenance, Engine, Brakes, A/C, Computer Diagnostics, etc. Fabrication and Welding of Steel and Aluminum. Knowledge and use of Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone for all record keeping. Must be a team player and be able to work Independently. Must have a commitment to Perform Quality Workmanship. Standard Tech owned tools required. Large shop tools Provided. PHYSICAL and
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ?
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Certificate or degree from college or technical school, with 2-4 years related diesel repair experience OR equivalent combination of training and experience. CERTIFICATES and
LICENSES ASE
certifications are a plus NYS Inspector License or Ability to Acquire Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years. No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI). Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Why should you apply?
