Diesel Truck Mechanics

Job Summary We are seeking several skilled and motivated Diesel Truck Mechanics at various levels of experience to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks. Your work will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, including tractors, trailers, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to keep operations moving forward. This position also offers an opportunity to join the Union. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment checks, steering, shocks & struts replacement, and air brake inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair or replace faulty components including engine parts, transmissions, axles, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and electrical wiring. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Truck Mechanic at any level with your own tools. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, and electrical components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large parts or equipment components. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship. Monday -Saturday, 8am-5pm which includes an hour for lunch. Pay to match your skills. Union opportunity. Willingness to work overtime. Pay:

$22.00 - $37.00 per hour
