Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking mechanic or mechanic helper to join our shop in Akron, Ohio. We are a growing truck repair shop that works on semi trucks, trailers, brakes, suspension, electrical, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and general repairs. We are looking for someone who is willing to work, learn, and grow with the company. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to teach the right person. What matters most to us is that you show up, have a good attitude, are dependable, and are willing to get your hands dirty. If you already have experience, we will compensate accordingly. If you are newer but motivated and willing to learn, we will train you and help you build real skills.
What we are looking for:
Someone who is reliable and shows up on time Someone who wants to work and improve Someone who can follow instructions and work as part of a team Someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly Someone who is respectful, honest, and responsible Experience with semi trucks, trailers, brakes, suspension, PM services, diagnostics, or electrical work is a plus Tools are a plus, but not required for the right person Job duties may include: Oil changes and preventative maintenance Brake jobs and wheel-end work Trailer repairs Suspension and air system repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting Assisting other mechanics Keeping the shop clean and organized Learning diagnostics and more advanced repairs over time
Pay:
Pay depends on experience, skill level, work ethic, and ability. We are willing to pay fairly for someone who brings value, and we are also willing to train someone who is serious about learning.
