Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems.
• Conduct automotive repairs, such as brake repairs, suspension repairs, and transmission repairs.
• Repair and maintain equipment used in construction and other industries.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including brake repair and suspension repair.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience working with Caterpillar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
