Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems.
- Conduct automotive repairs, such as brake repairs, suspension repairs, and transmission repairs.
- Repair and maintain equipment used in construction and other industries.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including brake repair and suspension repair.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience working with Caterpillar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
