This position will primarily focus on diagnosing and repairing diesel and EV medium and heavy-duty trucks, including mechanical repairs related to collision damage. As a Rivian-certified repair facility, you will also work on Rivian Electric Delivery Vans. Previous electric vehicle experience is preferred, but we will provide training where needed. Our truck operation is still growing, so flexibility is important. There may be times when this position assists with vehicle disassembly, reassembly, or other work supporting our collision repair operation. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, willing to learn, and interested in growing with the shop. Job Duties Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on diesel or EV trucks and delivery vans Diagnose and identify damaged or affected parts and systems on vehicles involved in collisions Remove, replace, and repair suspension, steering, brake, electrical, cooling, HVAC, and ignition components according to OEM procedures Diagnose warning lights and fault codes using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment Complete wheel alignments and assist with vehicle ADAS calibrations Understand or be willing to learn EV high-voltage systems, safety procedures, and components Perform vehicle disassembly and reassembly when needed to support collision repair operations Follow OEM repair procedures and properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs Manage and organize multiple jobs at a time Comply with all applicable safety regulations and company policies Communicate effectively and work closely with technicians, estimators, and management Qualifications Diesel or heavy-duty truck repair experience Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities Ability to use scan tools and basic computer-based repair systems Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Willingness to assist outside the primary mechanical role when shop operations require it Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Electric vehicle experience is preferred but not required I-CAR, ASE, OEM, or other relevant certifications are preferred CDL and welding experience are a plus We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing truck and fleet operation.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
