Job Description

As an Experienced Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel- and CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks. You will be the go-to technical expert for complex mechanical issues and will lead by example in maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair Proven experience working on both Diesel and CNG engines CDL (Class A or B) preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electronic diagnostic software Knowledge of DOT regulations High school diploma or GED; technical school or vocational training is a plus Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varying conditions
Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties:
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems on diesel and CNG commercial trucks Perform DOT inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with federal and state safety regulations Utilize diagnostic tools and OEM software for troubleshooting Conduct preventative maintenance and detailed inspections Oversee junior technicians and provide technical mentorship and training Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Coordinate with fleet managers and operations for scheduling and prioritization of repairs Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and OEM bulletins
