Monday
  • Friday 10am-6:30pm Position Summary To serve our internal customers by maintaining and repairing the company's fleet of vehicles according to established company standards and federal law to ensure the safety, reliability, and functionality of the fleet.
Essential Functions Performs preventative maintenance repairs on equipment. Operates Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures and wears all required personal protective equipment. Complies with all safety and DOT regulations. Communicates with co-workers, internal customers, and supervisors. Transports equipment to outside maintenance shops for repair work not completed in-house. Orders parts and maintains parts inventory. Maintains cleanliness and assists in the organization of the fleet garage. Completes Federal annual inspection reports, preventative maintenance records, service repair order forms, time-off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards. Works assigned schedule and exhibits regular attendance. Performs other related duties as required. Education Level Minimum
  • High School or GED Preferred
  • Vocational / Technical or equivalent degree; 2 Year / associate degree in diesel mechanics Experience Years of Experience
  • 1 year
  • with medium to heavy duty trucks required Certificates & Licenses Valid Driver's License; Employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.

Additional Requirements Basic understanding of diagnostic software. Must be able to work around fumes, airborne particles, and toxic/caustic materials. Must be able to work around moving equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks) and in a loud noise environment.
