Job Description

SMP Welding is offering an immediate, full-time position for a skilled Mechanic. Job entails repairing gas and diesel-powered equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and repair and maintain company trucks and trailers. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m with occasional overtime. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of gasoline/diesel engines, must have electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, must have a mechanical aptitude, must have own mechanic tools, must have a valid drivers' license with no more than 4 points, must be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, and must be reliable. Any candidate that has a CDL would be helpful. We offer competitive wages, paid holidays and vacation, medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance and 401k with 4% company match.
