POSITION WILL PAY
$35/HR. + BENEFITS
ONCE QUALIFYING PERIOD MET
What You'll Do Perform advanced diagnostics on gasoline, diesel, and hybrid engines using OEM and aftermarket scan tools. Interpret fault codes, analyze live data streams, and conduct component-level testing to identify root causes. Collaborate with service advisors to explain findings in clear, customer-friendly language. Recommend precise repair solutions and verify repairs through post-service testing. Stay current with evolving engine technologies, emissions systems, and diagnostic software updates. Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. What You'll Bring Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, ideally 3+ years in a professional shop environment. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as Bosch KTS, Snap-on MODIS, or OEM-specific systems. Strong understanding of engine management systems, fuel injection, ignition, and emissions controls. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins. ASE certification in Engine Performance (A8) or equivalent is a plus.
