Job Description

Light Duty Diesel Technician McCauley's Truck Center - Bend, OR About Us McCauley's Truck Center is a locally owned diesel repair shop serving Central Oregon. We specialize in diesel pickup trucks, fleet vehicles, and light- to heavy-duty diesel Trucks. Our shop focuses on quality repairs, honest communication, and taking care of both our customers and employees. We're looking for a motivated Light Duty Diesel Technician who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing team. Position Summary As a Light Duty Diesel Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel pickup trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles. This position is ideal for someone with experience working on Power Stroke, Cummins, and Duramax platforms who enjoys solving problems and producing quality work. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems Perform maintenance and repair work on: Ford Power Stroke (7.3,6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L) Ram Cummins (5.9L and 6.7L) GM Duramax (6.6L) Perform inspections and preventative maintenance services Diagnose drivability, electrical, fuel system, emissions, and performance concerns Complete suspension, steering, brake, cooling system, and drivetrain repairs Utilize scan tools and diagnostic software to accurately identify failures Maintain accurate repair notes and documentation in Fullbay Keep work area clean and organized Follow all shop safety procedures Qualifications Previous diesel technician or automotive technician experience preferred Experience with Power Stroke, Cummins, and/or Duramax platforms strongly preferred Ability to diagnose electrical and drivability concerns Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid holidays Paid time off Ongoing training opportunities Modern diagnostic equipment Clean and organized work environment Opportunities for advancement Why McCauley's Truck Center?
