What You'll Do You'll perform a mix of in‑shop and mobile service work on diesel trucks and fire apparatus, supporting departments throughout Oregon and Washington. Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel trucks and fire trucks, including engines, electrical systems, brakes, and hydraulics Perform mobile work such as PMs, repairs, and pump testing at fire stations across the region Complete routine maintenance: fluid changes, filter replacements, component inspections Repair or replace malfunctioning parts to manufacturer and industry standards Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Maintain accurate repair records, maintenance logs, and parts documentation Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and site requirements Perform safety inspections and prepare related documentation Support additional duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly What You Bring You're the kind of mechanic who can diagnose issues quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver high‑quality work that people can trust.
