Job Description
A family-owned trucking fleet is hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician in Avonmore, PA to maintain trucks, trailers, and specialty hauling equipment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of diesel repair, preventive maintenance, brake, and electrical experience. for competitive pay, flexible shifts, and overtime opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, inspections, and filter replacements. Repair and replace lights, tires, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including charging, starting, and lighting circuits. Perform DOT inspections and help keep trucks and trailers compliant with state and federal safety standards. Complete service documentation, work orders, and maintenance records accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while communicating repair needs with supervisors.
