In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of diesel engines, small engines, and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all machinery operates efficiently and reliably, supporting our customers' needs with top-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment including farm & lawn equipment, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to deliver exceptional results. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, small engines, and various equipment using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections to ensure optimal performance Repair electrical systems, wiring, soldering connections, and troubleshoot electrical issues on different machinery including engine overhauls, farm tractor power shift transmission & hydraulic diagnostics/repair Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs safely and efficiently Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults and implement effective repair solutions Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation for all repairs performed Support team productivity & help oversee shop work Experience Dealership experience or service technician background preferred; demonstrated ability to work on diesel engines and small engines required Proven mechanic experience with equipment repair, or similar fields Strong electrical experience including wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting electrical systems Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for complex machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about technical issues Hands-on experience with welding techniques and mechanical repairs using various tools Work independently.
