Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines, trucks, and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet, supporting our operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on heavy diesel engines and related components using advanced testing equipment. Conduct repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance. Replace worn or damaged parts such as belts, brakes, filters, and hydraulic components with precision. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking purposes. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all repair procedures to protect yourself and your team. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar role with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment for troubleshooting. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, brake systems, electrical wiring, and emission controls. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training in heavy diesel technology is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times.
