Job Description:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment and earth-moving vehicles, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, graders, and trucks, as well as work with diesel trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is in safe and optimal working condition. Occasionally responding to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs as needed. Why Work Here? Essential Skills Ability to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines. Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and brake systems. Use of diagnostic tools and software, such as Caterpillar

Perform scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment like dozers, cranes, excavators, and trucks. Rebuild components, weld, and replace valves, pipes, and solenoids. Experience with torch and welder use for part reproduction and repair. Ability to read and apply technical diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs. Dismantle machines or equipment to examine parts for defects or to remove defective parts and replacing/repairing them with various metals. Work Environment Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The noise level is loud at times, and work may be required outdoors in all environments. Mostly shop-based position, but there will be occasional travel in emergency calls. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schwenksville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
