Job Description

Hiring Service Technicians About The Diesel Mechanic Job:
Service Technicians are responsible for: troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions and other various components found on all heavy-duty truck makes and models.
Service Technician Benefits:
Up to $1,500 per week, paid biweekly
Typical Diesel Mechanic Hours:
Monday•Friday (7 am•3:30 pm) Second Shift in
Lancaster:
Monday•Friday (3:30 pm•midnight) $5 shift differential $3,000 mechanic sign on bonus Mechanic uniforms provided
Quarterly Performance Incentives:
Based on department performance and profitability Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance available after 30 days Retirement Program available after 1 year
Direct Deposit Available Service Technician Requirements:
Diesel Mechanic must have at least 4 years of overall experience, with 2 years in a dealership environment High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision PACCAR, Cummins, CAT & ASE certifications are a plus, but not required Valid State Inspection License is a plus, but not required
Primary Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
Accurately diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection Document work in progress on repair orders Perform repairs according to dealership standards and factory specs Road test vehicle, if necessary.
