This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, quality repairs on diesel equipment and mobile fleet service. If you're a hands-on technician who values consistency, teamwork, and professional growth, this is a solid opportunity to build a long-term career. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavyduty trucks and trailers Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership Qualifications 3+ years of diesel maintenance experience preferred (fleet, dealership, independent, or light mechanical shop) Mobile experience preferred, but not required for a shop technician ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, not required) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certifications Paid ASE testing and certification support Wage increases tied to ASE certifications and skill progression Consistent workload with modern equipment Training opportunities and access to diagnostic tools Stable schedule and longterm growth potential Why This Role Works This isn't just a wrench-turning job.
