Need a lot of experience with CAT both trucks and excavators Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair vehicles, heavy equipment, equipment accessories Mechanic to perform minor repairs and general routine maintenance such as oil, filter and fluid changes Mechanic to repair brakes, suspension, exhaust, engine diagnostics, welding, wiring repair, and troubleshooting Troubleshoot and repair vehicles, heavy equipment, equipment accessories Perform road calls if necessary Maintain a clean and safe work area Repairs made in a timely manner Skills and Qualifications Required Performs state inspections, and registrations on vehicles and equipment Must have hand and air tools (needs to be a large amount with variety) Inspection license Mechanic to be self-motivated and willing to work Knowledge and experience - looking for mechanics that like to fix things and not just a parts changer Valid - good driver's license Pass a background check 40+ overtime, evenings and weekend as needed Salary is discussed on experience, possible paid travel time Summary As a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic, you will be a vital team member responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and diesel vehicles.
