We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Thursday from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM and will involve working at our Cincinnati shop as well as supporting nearby customer sites. A company service vehicle will be provided for travel to customer locations. You will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop or customer location Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools To be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs and major engine rebuilds with minimal supervision. Holds a Class A or Class B CDL, or is willing and able to obtain one. Has experience working with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engines, or demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area. Performs complex engine overhauls independently. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment issues with limited reliance on diagnostic software and tools. Possesses a thorough understanding of aftertreatment systems and their components. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, including support with diagnostics, repairs, and service documentation. Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) Chassis and expanded service work A current valid CDL is required for this role.
