What You Get $35-$50 per hour, based on experience Overtime paid at time and a half Performance bonuses opportunities Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Paid weekly Company service truck Take-home truck / work from home dispatch Company-paid fuel for work Uniforms provided Job description DuraFleet is hiring an experienced Diesel Technician to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial fleet customers across the Denton / Grapevine / Alliance / North Fort Worth area. This is a field-based role for a skilled technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, communicate professionally with customers, and complete repairs with a safe, efficient, and high-quality approach. The right candidate will operate from a company-provided mobile service vehicle and support customers at their location, helping keep their fleets safe, compliant, reliable, and on the road. About the Role You will travel to customer locations to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial fleet vehicles. The work will include a mix of scheduled maintenance, customer-requested repairs, and occasional roadside service. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to be part of a company that is growing quickly in the North Texas fleet maintenance market. Typical Work Includes Diesel and gas vehicle diagnostics Preventative maintenance services DOT inspections Brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and lighting No-start diagnostics Electrical troubleshooting Roadside repairs Fleet maintenance and general repairs Light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles Accurate job notes, photos, and customer communication What We're Looking For Strong diesel mechanical experience required Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles without constant supervision Experience with scan tools and diagnostic equipment Professional communication with customers Dependable, self-motivated, and organized Valid driver's license Clean driving record Must provide your own hand tools Ability to pass background and/or drug screening, if required Bonus Experience Mobile repair or roadside service experience Commercial fleet maintenance ASE certifications Trailer repair experience Experience working on box trucks, delivery fleets, utility trucks, buses, or vocational trucks Schedule Full-time position Overtime opportunities available Some weekend work may be required depending on workload After-hours calls may be needed Why Join DuraFleet?
