Contractor Pay:

$30-$45 per hour (based on experience) + overtime + performance bonuses + Night Shift Premium (6:00 PM-6:00 AM) + Holiday Premium Pay. About Us Mt. Zion Tire Service LLC is a growing roadside truck service company specializing in emergency commercial truck tire service, diesel repairs, and fleet support. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic who can work independently, provide outstanding customer service, and help build a company known for fast, professional roadside service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers. Perform emergency roadside breakdown repairs. Repair brakes, suspension, steering, wheel seals, hubs, electrical, air, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections. Complete accurate work orders and communicate professionally with customers and fleet managers. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle. Respond quickly to emergency roadside service calls. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred. Experience working on Class 7 and Class 8 trucks. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus). Must have your own basic hand tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional attitude, dependable, and customer-focused. Schedule This is an on-call 24/7 position for emergency roadside service. Calls are dispatched as they are received. Work may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. All work performed between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM receives additional night premium pay. Overtime and holiday premium pay are also available.
