This is a work-from-home, mobile/on-site role with guaranteed hours. We provide all tools, equipment, and a fully equipped service truck . Must be available for 24/7 emergency repairs .
Sign-On bonus:
$2400 $800 after 3 months + $800 after 6 months Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including brake repair, transmission work, alignment, and suspension adjustments. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and fabrication tasks. Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic components. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Operate heavy equipment as necessary for testing or repair purposes. Skills Proven experience as a diesel technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics. Familiarity with OEM specifications for various equipment brands including Caterpillar. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience with HVAC systems, air brakes, hydraulics, and tire service. Ability to lift heavy equipment as required during repairs. Knowledge of assembly processes for various mechanical components. Strong electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
