Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team at Uptime Fleet. Uptime does all aspects of Fleet Maintenance. We are a Family-owned company, looking to grow our team. We offer quality pay, benefits, and a flexible work schedule. We are looking to hire an experienced technician, with heavy diagnostic experience. We work on all OEM's, Cummins and Detroit experience is preferred.

  • Master Technician A
  • Significant relevant technical experience
  • Qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician
  • Frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair
  • Requires minimal to no supervision and has the ability / willingness to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets when necessary Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
Pay:
$28.00
  • $36.00 per hour Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics to identify issues with diesel vehicles.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspensions.
  • Utilize hand tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
  • Ensure proper alignment and calibration of vehicle systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in diesel vehicles (609 Cert)
  • Adhere to safety protocols when working on heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide excellent service and address their concerns.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed during repairs and maintenance.
  • Utilize welding and soldering techniques for fabrication and repair work.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • CDL Preferred
  • 609 certification
  • OEM certifications
  • Brake inspector certifications
  • Willingness to work on all makes and engines
  • Ability to perform road service if necessary
  • Good attitude and ability to work in a team environment
