Our company is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to support projects in the Columbia/Lexington areas. The Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic will handle preventive maintenance and general repairs to fleet of construction heavy equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and trucks. Perform routine maintenance to, including, oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups and filter replacements Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer manuals. Replace or repair worn or defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, or power tools. Maintain detail records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours. Ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and meets regulatory compliance. Respond to emergency repair calls in the field as needed.
