Job Description

Ard Trucking Company, Inc. is a locally owned trucking company since 1945. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals who want to be part of a growing company. Individuals we are seeking need to have a positive attitude, safety minded, work independently as well as in a team setting. Responsibilities:
Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy Truck and Diesel Engines as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices Perform routine DOT mandated inspections Perform PM services in a timely manner Accurately complete paperwork and enter into computer Service drive-ups and mobile call Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standard, and best practices
Schedule:
12 hour shifts with 4 days on and 4 days off rotation Job Requirements and/or
Preferences:
Applicant MUST have CDL 5+ years of experience preferred but will train Proven experience working with minimal supervision A basic knowledge of computers / Diagnostics Accurately complete paperwork and enter into computer Possess training certifications in electrical, drivetrain, brake systems, air conditioning, etc. Must possess a valid commercial driver's license, a good driving record and remain insurable Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work all weather conditions (hot/cold weather) Knowledge of Cummins Insite/Eaton road ranger is helpful Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented

This position requires heavy lifting, soldering, welding, and providing tire services. It also involves interacting with customers to address their concerns.
