Job Description
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Inspects, diagnoses, troubleshoots, services, and repairs customer machines in the field References service manuals, diagnostic software, and parts books to identify malfunctions and verify specifications Verifies warranty coverage for parts and manages return of cores and remanufactured components Performs failure analysis on all major systems including engines, electrical, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic/computer applications Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, safety checks, and operational tests per contract guidelines by coordinating with customers Prepares accurate work orders, warranty documentation, SIMS reports, time charges, expenses, and purchase orders daily Orders and returns parts through appropriate service order processes Identifies and recommends additional services to minimize downtime, improve customer satisfaction, and build loyalty Generates additional service business by contacting potential customers within the region (Resident role only) Follows all Vancer and customer-specific safety policies, including contamination control and HAZMAT regulations About VancerBENEFITS
