Job Description

Job Summary Kuts & Kleans is hiring an experienced mechanic to maintain and repair our mixed fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers, agricultural tractors, and construction equipment. The ideal candidate has strong diesel, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, welding, and fabrication experience and can independently diagnose and complete repairs. Equipment Experience Bobcat skid steers, track loaders, and mini excavators John Deere tractors, loaders, skid steers, and excavators Class 8 trucks, end dumps, roll-offs, and trailers Hydraulic and hydrostatic systems Preferred Engine and Transmission Experience Cummins X15/ISX Detroit
DD13/DD15 PACCAR
MX-series Volvo D13/Mack MP8 Eaton Fuller manual transmissions Eaton UltraShift/Endurant Detroit DT12, Volvo I-Shift, and Allison automatics Applicants do not need factory-master experience with every listed system but must be comfortable working across a mixed fleet. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and aftertreatment systems. Use diagnostic software, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and service manuals. Perform MIG and stick welding, cutting, fitting, grinding, and general fabrication. Repair or fabricate brackets, guards, mounts, trailer components, and equipment attachments. Respond to shop and field breakdowns and maintain accurate service records. Qualifications Professional heavy-duty diesel or heavy-equipment repair experience Welding and metal-fabrication experience Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work independently in shop and outdoor conditions
CDL, DOT
inspection, air-brake, OEM diagnostic software, and industry certifications are preferred but not required.
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
