Company Heavy Diesel Mechanic

The Moffitt Companies are looking for a self motivated and skilled heavy diesel mechanic. Candidates considered to be Good fit will have the following: Own your own tools Self starting Diagnostic abilities Service abilities Basic and Advanced understanding of Mechanics 40+ Hours a week offered (Overtime) Dental Benefits Health Benefits Basic good communication skills Basic writing and Arithmetic Candidates will have a set work schedule with fluctuation for overtime and weekend work. Welding and fabrication is a plus Pay Scale determined upon assessment As as Diesel Mechanic your duties would be but not limited to:

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components
• Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functioning
• Keep accurate records of work performed

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to solder and weld
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with tire service is a plus
