Fleet Mechanic Proficient Concrete, LLC - 5.0 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $24 - $26 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Mechanic experience Outdoor work experience Diesel mechanics English Driver's License Technical troubleshooting support Full Job Description Concrete construction company in Dallas is hiring a full-time mechanic to keep our fleet running: pickups, concrete pump trucks, flatbeds, trailers, skid steers, compactors, generators, and small equipment. Hands-on work in our yard, W-2 hourly, paid weekly, overtime over 40. What you will do Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines on pickups and Class 8 trucks Preventive maintenance: oil, filters, brakes, tires, belts, hoses, batteries Keep DOT trucks inspection ready and keep repair records Hydraulic, electrical, air brake, and cooling system repairs Service small engines and equipment Order parts and keep the shop clean and organized Go to the job site when a truck or machine goes down What we need 3+ years hands-on diesel truck or heavy equipment experience (preferably) Can troubleshoot on your own Valid driver's license. CDL, welding, and pump or boom experience are a plus English or Spanish. Spanish only is accepted.
