Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Gas and Diesel Technician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles. This role involves working with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram all types of pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both gas and diesel engines and be capable of diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on gas and diesel engines across a range of vehicle models, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram pre-owned vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, fuel systems, and other related parts. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of service orders. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Gas and Diesel Technician or in a similar automotive repair role. Knowledgeable in working with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram vehicles, especially pre-owned models. Strong diagnostic skills with familiarity using automotive diagnostic tools. Ability to perform complex repairs on both gas and diesel engines efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid technician certification or relevant technical training is preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed. Pay:
$32.26 - $48.85 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
