- Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Tech Medium Duty to join our dynamic automotive service team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, especially in complex mechanical and electrical repairs on medium-duty vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engines, while contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in automotive repair. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, powertrains, and engine control modules using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other powertrain components with mechanical knowledge and precision. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, and heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques. Utilize welding equipment and perform basic auto body repairs as needed to restore vehicle integrity. Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during repairs on GM vehicles or other makes. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and system upgrades involving ADAS technology or other advanced systems. Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and engine repair procedures. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, powertrain components, and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. Skilled in interpreting schematics for complex electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with automotive alignment equipment and calibration procedures for ADAS systems. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including auto body repair and electrical wiring. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent experience; dealership or GM vehicle experience is a plus.
