Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, and heavy equipment operation. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of diesel engines. The Diesel Technician will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency within our organization. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic assessments using schematics and electronic testing tools to identify mechanical or electrical issues in diesel engines and related components. Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other vehicle or equipment systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety compliance and operational reliability. Repair or replace components including brakes, tires, shocks & struts, belts, hoses. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Hands-on experience. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems including fuel injection, emissions control systems, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, and air brakes. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent diagnostic skills using modern electronic testing tools. Prior service technician experience in automotive or industrial settings is advantageous.
