Midland, TX Job Details Full-time $25 - $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Diesel engine system repair Troubleshooting schematics Customer service Diesel mechanics English Diesel engine electrical systems troubleshooting Company vehicle operation High school diploma or GED Driver's License Power generation systems Heavy machinery engine diagnostics Hand tools Engine maintenance Full Job Description Field repair and maint of diesel engines on gensets Responsibilities Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on gensets Ensures operation of engines by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Install various parts on engine as required. Deliver exceptional customer service After hr. call outs Ability to hookup to engines and diagnose with laptop Qualifications •High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 to 5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ability to drive company vehicles. Basic knowledge of wiring schematic. Basic knowledge of diesel engine operations. Basic knowledge of diesel engine electrical system. Basic knowledge of diesel engine fuel system. Able to troubleshoot engine no-start. Ownership and possession of a basic set of mechanics tools. Proficient in the English language Cat engine experience Schedule 21-14
