Full Job Description Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic About Us:

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Odessa team to help keep our fleet running smoothly and safely.

Position Summary:

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic , you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including semi-trucks, forklifts, and trailers. Your expertise will ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest standard and ready to perform in the demanding oilfield environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other major components. Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections. Complete repairs by removing, replacing, adjusting, and overhauling parts and systems. Maintain accurate records of services performed. Ensure compliance with DOT, federal, and state safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Monitor and maintain shop tools and equipment. Assist with parts inventory and restocking as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of diesel mechanic experience or completion of a certified diesel technician program. Strong Electrical experience is a plus. Hydraulic experience is a plus.

Required Certifications:

A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual Inspector. Must own necessary tools for the job. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety, reliability, and efficiency.
