Must be able to bring in their own tools. We are seeking someone who has mechanic experience in the repairing of tractor and trailer brakes, air leak repairs, water leak repairs, preventive maintenance service on tractors and trailers, diagnostic repairs and ability to change out tractor and trailer tires as well as basic patch repairs if necessary. We are looking for someone that works well with others and is also a team player. Summary As a Diesel/Trailer Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing tractor-trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, brake repair, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Your premium experience with heavy equipment and fabrication will enhance your ability to work on diverse machinery. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and welding will support our commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues in diesel and trailer systems. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailers, including brake systems and transmissions. Utilize hand tools and equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Ensure proper alignment, suspension, and hydraulic systems are functioning optimally. Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
