Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, which includes various types of industrial equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will work closely with team members to provide exceptional service and maintain high safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting issues and performing necessary adjustments. Perform heavy lifting as required to access various components of machinery and equipment. Repair air brake systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with our other mechanics and technicians to complete projects efficiently. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with diesel engines and HVAC systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions. Familiarity with air brake systems and industrial equipment repair. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Relevant certifications or training in diesel mechanics is preferred but not mandatory.
