Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician with strong diagnostic and repair experience on diesel-powered equipment. This position is for technicians who can work independently, diagnose complex issues, and complete repairs to OEM standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines using OEM and aftermarket scan tools Repair and overhaul diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions systems (DPF, DEF, SCR), and turbochargers Diagnose and repair electrical systems including CAN bus, sensors, ECMs, and wiring harnesses Service and repair braking systems (air and hydraulic), steering, suspension, and driveline components Conduct preventative maintenance inspections (PMs) per manufacturer specifications Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, and parts usage
Required Qualifications:
3 to 5 years hands-on experience as a Diesel Technician Strong understanding of diesel engine theory and diagnostics Proficiency with scan tools, multimeters, and diagnostic software Experience with aftertreatment systems and fault code diagnostics Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Own professional-grade tools Preferred Experience (Not Required): OEM experience (Cummins, Detroit, CAT, Paccar, Volvo, etc.) ASE certifications (T2-T8) Hydraulic and PTO systems Fleet or heavy equipment background

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
