Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems with auto hauler truck/trailers, with the ability to diagnose and repair various diesel engines and components. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and repair, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to PACCAR, Cummins, Cat engines. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components such as air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Assemble and disassemble engine parts as needed for repairs. Utilize power tools and other equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Operate forklifts when necessary for moving equipment or parts. Experience Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on diesel engines. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and air brake systems is highly desirable. Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools related to mechanical repairs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are advantageous.
