DISTRIBUTING, where youll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses and trucks. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and meet regulatory standards. Your duties will encompass identifying mechanical issues, replacing or repairing defective parts, and documenting work performed. Collaborate with drivers and management to prioritize maintenance needs and respond promptly to breakdowns or service requests. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess engine performance and resolve complex problems. Successful candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems, and knowledge of industry-standard repair procedures. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety practices is important. Attention to detail, reliable work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy components, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
