Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, PTOs, and other truck components. Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, inspections, and scheduled services. Troubleshoot and repair vacuum truck and winch truck equipment. Complete service calls and roadside repairs as needed. Respond to emergency breakdowns when available. Maintain accurate daily reports of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and equipment status. Notify management of major repairs, safety concerns, and parts needed. Keep the mechanic shop, work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
