Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Commercial diesel truck, trailer and DOT repair and maintenance, as well as a strong understanding of industrial equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, which includes tractor-trailers and various types of heavy machinery. The Diesel Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality service to meet customer needs. Duties Perform diagnostic tests on commercial and industrial equipment to identify issues. Conduct repairs and maintenance on commercial diesel trucks: including diagnosis, brake systems, suspension components, fuel systems, exhaust leaks, air leaks and electrical systems. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repairs. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Requirements Proven experience in diesel repair and maintenance. Familiarity with industrial equipment and heavy machinery. Strong skills in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair. Experience with shocks, struts, tire service, and general mechanical repairs. Proficient in using power tools related to mechanical work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. A valid driver's license is required; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
