Baker's Diesel Injection Service has proudly served northern Utah for over 45 years, providing high-quality light-duty diesel diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and parts sales. We're a locally-owned shop with a reputation for honesty, craftsmanship, and customer care.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a motivated technician with experience working on light-duty diesel trucks (Duramax, Power Stroke, and Cummins). The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position, is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and related components Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and recommend repair solutions Keep accurate repair documentation and communicate findings clearly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist with parts and inventory management as needed Support a positive, team-focused shop culture
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a diesel or automotive technician (light-duty preferred) Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills Electrical knowledge is a plus Familiarity with scan tools and repair software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must provide own tools (excluding shop specialty tools)
