Job Description At United Airlines, we are looking for a Ground Service Equipment Technician (Automotive and Diesel) to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. As a Ground Service Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground service equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in safe and operational condition. You will work closely with other team members to provide excellent service to our customers and support the overall operations of the airport.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground service equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Respond to equipment failures and emergencies as needed. Assist in training new technicians. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
