Diesel Mechanic

Waccamaw Transport Company is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a 1st shift Diesel Truck Mechanic in our Maintenance Department. This is a full time position with competitive pay and great benefits. Qualifications Previous experience in a diesel mechanic environment or equivalent education Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions. Ability to lift 75 lbs on a regular basis HazMat vehicle experience preferred Must be able to work in a team building environment Job Responsibilities Vehicle maintenance including but not limited to: oil changes, tire changes, light repairs, brake adjustments Making repairs to tank trailers (

Examples:

Brake adjustments, replacing tires, repairing loading heads, hoses, etc) Adhere to all safety policies Complete and maintain vehicle files in accordance with FMCSA Regulations Maintain the shop and work areas in a clean and orderly condition Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to meet company goals and objectives Qualified candidates should submit a resume in response to this ad.
