Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Job description: Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics for field service work OTR on semi trucks and trailers out of our Tacoma, WA Yard. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing team. Immediate openings available.

Job Description:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on semi tractors and semi trailers OTR Work on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and repairing DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) systems Conduct on-the-road service calls using a company-provided truck Utilize Fullbay software (or quickly learn) for job tracking and service management Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure safe, efficient operation Complete preventative maintenance and emergency repairs Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress
Requirements:
Proven experience as a heavy duty diesel mechanic (semi trucks/trailers) Strong knowledge of diesel engines and DPF systems Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently in the field Valid driver's license with clean driving record (MVR required) Ability to learn and use Fullbay software system Must provide own diesel mechanic tools Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to reporting location Must be able to pass drug and background screening Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check Position requires the use of PPE and personal tools
